# turn -x on if DEBUG is set to a non-empty string Oh and as long as you're messing with shell modes, -e goes well with -x (which I like to think of as shell X-ray). # I don't care if evil-broken-command fails If you REALLY want to ignore an error, be explicit about it: ![]() A neat predictable failure is infinitely better than a noisy unreliable failure. In this mode any command your script runs which returns a non-zero exitcode - an error in the world of shell - will cause your script to itself terminate immediately with an error. Turn on -e mode (do you feel lucky - punk?) Here are two simple tricks that are easy to use and will make your scripts much more robust. They just chug happily along even when everything is broken.īecause a lowly shell shell script doesn't need any error handling right? WRONG! ![]() ![]() Word on the street is your shell scripts don't do any error handling.

Please, in the future do not post any program as a suggestion for this list for which you must compile your own binary! And, I would highly dissuade you from suggesting anymore command line programs: Because I do not intend to post them unless they really fulfill a critical function that no other program With a GUI can match. Programs I will use have Menus and can be controlled with a pointing device: like a mouse, or trackpad, or trackball.Īnd my readers expect the same. And I do not use command line programs: you must remember a whole bunch of complicated command line sequences and be a good touch typist as well. And almost all of those new games will play on Windows or Linux systems also! Here it is: Numpty Physics. I've updated the games page with a LOT of new stuff. ![]() ![]() I just checked my computer, and the exact same episode from the exact same playlist, plays perfectly. I went back and watched that scene again, and again, it skipped the scenes. ![]() While watching an episode of MST3K, and episode that I've watched, literally, a hundred times, I noticed that, for some reason, Roku 2 was skipping a scene which is about a minute and a half. Because of horrible connection problems with the PSN, my dad is letting me borrow his Roku 2 to run my playlists at night. ![]() Numerous files, folders and registry entries will not be uninstalled when you want to remove Command ![]() The level of quality just wasn't there like it was supposed to be, the issues ranged from poor structural management of the supported titles and the cheat codes themselves, cheat codes being a bit of an issue in some use cases, ranging from working but at an inaccurate level, crashing the game(s) being played, and or corrupting save data as a whole. Unfortunately the way these cheat databases were handled back then presented too many problems that never received proper solutions. Hello guys and gals, as some of you may know, and for those unaware, the Nintendo DS has had many cheat databases in the past circulating all over the place, at one point even GBAtemp had a dedicated, now defunct, cheat section of their own that hosted the latest and official cheat databases at that moment in time. ![]() 2) Edit the Windows Registry to bypass the CPU check While that 5.1GB image is downloading, let’s move to step two. ![]() Open the Select Download dropdown, pick Windows 11, hit the Download button, select your product language from the Choose one dropdown that appears below, hit Confirm, then click 64-bit Download. On this Microsoft page, scroll down to Download Windows 11 Disk Image (ISO). In our testing, this trick doesn’t work with the Windows 11 Install Assistant, it doesn’t trigger Windows Update, and it doesn’t fool Microsoft’s PC Health Check tool. Here’s the whole process from start to finish in three easy steps. (We’ve tested this method working on a Dell XPS 15 with Core i7-7700HQ and a Microsoft Surface Go with Pentium Gold 4415Y, neither of which are on Microsoft’s compatibility list.) You can go from “doesn’t meet requirements” to “ready to install” in mere minutes. |
